The world-famous Yule Marble Quarry has its loading area a few hundred yards from the OutWest Guides Lodge, and the 25-acre Millsite Park, owned by the Town of Marble, is a short walk away. The Marble Airstrip, a grass strip popular with mountain pilots, is just half a mile away. Half a dozen trailheads to wilderness destinations, including trails to Aspen, Redstone, and Crested Butte, are within a 3-mile radius of the Marble Outpost.
